1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Printlay's self-service printing kiosks, our website printlay.pk, and any related products or services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. About Printlay
Printlay is a Pakistan-based business providing self-service document printing kiosks. Printlay is registered as a partnership in Lahore, Pakistan, under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Printlay kiosks. Users under the age of 18 should be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
4. Services Provided
- Document printing: Black-and-white or colour printing from files uploaded via QR code, USB drive, or scanned at the kiosk.
- Print options: Single or double-sided, custom page ranges, multiple copies, portrait or landscape orientation.
- Document preview: On-screen preview before payment.
- Document scanning: Scanning of physical documents.
5. Payment
You may pay using:
- Card payments (NFC tap-to-pay)
- QR code payments (Raast, mobile wallets)
- Cash (where supported)
6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content
You must NOT use Printlay kiosks to print, copy, scan, or upload:
- Content that infringes copyright or intellectual property rights.
- Currency, CNIC cards, passports, or restricted identification documents.
- Forged, counterfeit, or fraudulent documents.
- Obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit material.
- Content that promotes terrorism, extremism, or hate speech.
- Content prohibited under Pakistani law, including PECA 2016.
7. Responsibility for User Content
You are fully responsible for the content you upload, scan, or print. Printlay does not review, monitor, or verify user documents and is not liable for unlawful, infringing, or prohibited material.
8. Document Privacy
Files you upload via QR or USB and documents you scan are processed only in temporary memory and are automatically deleted immediately after your print job completes.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy. If a print job fails due to a kiosk malfunction, you may request a manual refund within 48 hours.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
